Junko baseball ia a college sport enjoyed in Japan. The outer layer of the ball is made of rubber instead of the authentic leather. The hardness of the ball and play styles are comepletely the same as a normal baseball. The game is played in 9 innings and all rules are the same as hardball baseball.

However, the biggest difference with Junko baseball and hard baseball is how far the ball flies. The rubber coating gives the ball more momentum upon contact with the bat. Also, metal bats are used in Junko baseball which increases the power of the hitter. Junko baseball is a hiting game of baseball.
